Exploring The World Of Blur

About Blur

For those unfamiliar with the Blur concept I thought I would take a moment and give it some definition.

Blur is that borderland where the real and the unreal meet. Where truth and fiction, facts and rumors briefly touch. A place where if you make something up and then tell someone about it it sounds valid enough to be the truth.

This is what Blur covers. Games, books, movies many things can fall under the Blur header.

Hugh Dingwall was the person who got me to formulate the original ideas for the world of Blur with the ergodic masterpiece that he co-authored with (partners name-get proper spelling) Normality. It got me to look at role-playing games in a whole new way.

What I hope to provide at this blog is the raw material to build your own Blur world with.

A hardware problem cost me a lot of my work on this project and even a year+ later I am still sorting through damaged files that I have tried to recover.

You will find elements in Blur of all forms of games and other entertainment. William S. Burroughs' book The Third Mind is a text book in how to access the world of Blur.

Check out the Blur Resources page for a list of items and updates through the blog.
